This dance is not that exciting. I learnt it from whats-his-name, when Clerical Error
were in their infancy. I saw Flag Crackers do it, although knowing their repertoire, I
don't know why this was included.
It had been collected by both Leather and Sharp. When observed by Leather it was
performed with eight dancers. When observed by Sharp it was performed by sixteen dancers;
not uncommon for the Welsh Borders, or Wales. The team was observed in the 1920'as with
only five dancers, of who three danced with musical instruments (tambourine, melodeon and
triangle), and the remainder had 16-inch sticks.

and grasp the next dancers right wrist with your right hand. Dance round twice in 16
steps. Turn out and put stick in right hand and grasp the previous dancers left wrist with
your left hand. Dance round twice in 16 steps back to position.
