Silkeborg

Introduction

Its a busy Public Holiday Weekend in our social diary. Some top rock festivals, the Notting Hill Carnival, the Manchester gay parade, etc. I wanted to go to a rock fest., H wanted to go to Manchester. We played spin the carrot and it pointed to Silkeborg, the Danish venue for the meeting of the Morris Ring.

A few phone calls later and we had bummed a lift from a team across the border in England, Mersey Morris. As they were flying, and due to that incident with the Prevention of Terrorism Act when we tried to travel to Cork, we promised not to bring any explosives.
