CLM - Cardiff Ladies Morris (Wales, UK) - Information

Who are we?

Cardiff Ladies Morris were formed in 1973 and average 12 members with ages ranging from early 20’s to 50’s.

Where do we meet and practice?

Rookwood hospital gymnasium on Tuesday evenings at 7:30 prompt-ish. Dance out at local hostelries usually the last Tuesday of the month.

Kit

CLM kit consists of white shirt, black waistcoat (with a dragon on the peplum) and a bright red full skirt. Summer time, no tights; winter, black ones!

Dances

CLM dance Cotswold Morris- Lichfield, Ilmington and Ducklington traditions. Also Llareggub (read it backwards!), our own tradition, in the Cotswold style.

Musicians

We have two musicians at present, one plays the accordian and the other the melodeon, other musicians will be made most welcome!
